Goodman, Judith H., 85, died Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Saint Elizabeth Home on the Bay in East Greenwich. She was the beloved wife of Norman Goodman for 64 years. Born in St. Louis, MO, a daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Davis) Gershman, she had lived in Warwick for over 35 years, previously living in West Warwick. She was a member of Temple Torat Yisrael, Miriam Hospital Women’s Association, Women’s Association for the former Jewish Home for the Aged and a life member of Hadassah.
Devoted mother of Linda Weisman and her husband, Bruce, of Warwick and Andrew Goodman of Boston. Dear sister of Pam Cohen and her husband, Joel, of Warwick. Loving grandmother of Stacey Boisvert and her husband, Brett. Cherished great grandmother of Nathan and Lucie.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 N. Main St., Providence, RI 02904; Temple Torat Yisrael, 1251 Middle Road, East Greenwich, RI 02818; St. Elizabeth on the Bay, 1 St Elizabeth Way, East Greenwich, RI 02818 or Jewish Collaborative Services, 1165 N. Shiva will be observed at the home of Linda and Bruce Weisman, 270 Boulder View Drive, Warwick, RI 02886 from Sunday, January 11 to Tuesday, January 13, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
