Horovitz, Adrian

Adrian Jerome Horovitz, 93, of Oaklawn Avenue, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a devoted husband to the late Deborah (Berman) Horovitz, and they were married for sixty-three years. Adrian lived in Cranston, Rhode Island, for 68 years.
Adrian was born in Providence to Morris and Dena (Delerson) Horovitz. He graduated from Hope High School in 1950 and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1954. During the Korean War, he served as an officer in Germany, repairing helicopters and flying them to ensure the repairs were successful.
Adrian owned Harwood Manufacturing in Providence, a costume jewelry and novelty business, and was its president until he retired in 1999. He was also a member and past president of Temple Sinai.
Adrian was a devoted father to Amy Panzer and her husband, Andrew, of Wellington, Florida, and to Jeffrey Horovitz and his wife, Kathleen, of Cranston. He was the brother of the late David and Maida Horovitz, and a loving grandfather to Melissa Silverman and her husband Matthew, Jarett Rockwerk, Jacob Horovitz, and Joshua Horovitz. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 24, at 11:00 a.m. in Temple Sinai. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Temple Sinai, 30 Hagen Ave., Cranston, RI 02920. Shiva will be observed in private.
