Vilker, Samuel M., 83, died Monday, November 17, 2025, at his home in Boca Raton, FL. He was the beloved husband of Nancy J. (Priest) Vilker for 60 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Louis and Lillian (Schwartz) Vilker, he had lived in Boca Raton, FL for roughly ten years, previously living in Cranston and West Warwick for many years. He was a devoted teacher with the Providence Public School system until he retired in 2000; he also served the students at Congregation Beth Torah’s Hebrew High School for ten years as their principal. Samuel was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

Devoted father of Lee Vilker (and his wife Ronitte) of East Greenwich, RI and Beth Samreny of Boca Raton, FL. Dear brother of Nathan Vilker, Sylvia Resnick (Frank) of Cranston, RI, Anne Goldstein (Alden) of Worcester, MA and Adele (late). Loving grandfather of Eitan, Ari, Daniel and Justin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 20, 2025, in Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02888. Shiva pending further arrangements.
