Reuben Marks

Marks, Reuben, 91, of 20 Carlo Ct., Cranston, died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at RI Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of the late Rose (Levin) Marks.  Born in Providence, a son of the late Aaron and Lottie (Lasker) Marks, he was a lifelong resident of Cranston.  He was a TV technician until retirement.  Reuben was a WW-II Army veteran.  He was a member of Temple Am David and the Handyman Club.  He loved woodworking and enjoyed classical music.  Devoted father of Lois Ginsberg and her husband, Howard, of Cranston and David Marks.  Dear brother of the late Isreal Marks.  Loving grandfather of Leanne, Andrew, William, and Nikolas.  Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Rd., Warwick.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Miriam Hospital Center for Professional Practice Development, 164 Summit Ave, Providence, RI 02906, or Temple Am David, 40 Gardiner St., Warwick, RI 02888.  Shiva will be observed at his late residence Tuesday 7-9, Wednesday and Thursday day 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.)

    My sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved father/grandfather. I fondly remember numerous chats with him when you still lived on Paine Ave. May your warm memories and the love of family and friends help you get through this emotional time.

    Lois, my thoughts are with you at the passing of your Dad.
    It is hard to believe that their generation is almost gone now.
    I remember your Dad helping with getting us to and from school. He always seemed like such a kind and gentle soul. Take care of yourself.
