Myers, Lori
Myers, Lori, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by family and friends early on Sunday morning, February 23rd, 2025, at the age of 60. She was born in Providence, RI on March 13, 1964 and spent her last 26 years as a resident of Warwick, RI.
Lori devoted her life to her family and children. She was married to John Vendetti for a number of years, and later went on to marry the late Herbert Myers. She was the daughter of Lawrence (Larry) and Carol Mulzer, and the sister of Eric Mulzer. While she had an adventurous and very busy life, she also had a number of hobbies and professions that helped mold her into the woman that she was. Her educational journey began at St. Edwards Catholic school in Providence, and graduated one year early with high honors from Bishop Kio in Pawtucket, RI. She had a passion for gaining knowledge and attended Providence College, Bryant College, and Brown University, throughout the years she obtained her Masters Degree in Biology. Lori had numerous job titles throughout her life, including waitressing, bookkeeping, and CNA work. Her career path led to her becoming an LPN, where she found her passion of helping take care of others.
Lori’s true passion was creating and taking care of her family for over 41 years of her life. Throughout the last four decades she had 8 children of her own and 7 grandchildren. She is survived by Jessica Elwell (Vendetti), Jerilyn Vendetti, Rachael Bresse (Vendetti), John Vendetti, Zachary Myers, Tara Myers, Rhiannon Myers, and Hunter Nasrabadi. She was also a second mom to many of her children’s friends over the years and brought comfort to all that knew her. While Lori had her hands full being a widowed mother, she was also a loving Aunt, sister/sister in law, mother in-law, and best friend to many.
Some of her fondest memories were spent down by the beach, cuddled up with a Stephen King novel, or watching one of her favorite true crime series. She loved nothing more than to host family dinners, making home cooked meals for her loved ones, and sitting around the table sharing laughs and memories with the ones closest to her. To know her was to love her and she truly left her mark on many lives throughout her 60 years. She was also a lover of all animals, but especially her two cats Klaus and Beau. There were not many times you would see Lori in a room without some of her favorite music playing, whether that be The Bee Gees, Fleetwood Mac, or 3 Doors Down. While Lori spent a number of her final years seriously ill, she was still a lover of all things and instilled her wisdom into not only her children but all that knew her. She will be deeply missed but remembered and loved by many.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston.
