PLEASE CONVEY MY DEEP SYMPATHY TO YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY. THEY WERE DEVOTED CHIDREN BY CONSTANLY COMING TO VISIT AND SEEING TO HOPE’S EV ERY NEED.
HOPE WAS A LOVING MOTHER TO HOLD SUCH G RE AT RESPECTF FROM HER CHIDREN. SHE WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED HERE AT 5 STAR.
What a great lady, a real mensch. Clearly she was misnamed at birth however. “Hope” had nothing to do with it. Mrs. Borish made certain that all her kids accomplished their dreams. There was no “hope” involved. She may has well have been named “Willpower” or Earnestness”. May her memory be a blessing to all the Borishes and her entire mishpachah.
My deepest condolences to Hope’s wonderful family. She always set the bar higher and was a dear and cherished friend. I most admire her compassion, wit, determination and independence. She was a true role model and an inspiration to all. Hope will be sorely missed.
Sincere condolences Hopes family. I do know she will be missed. We spent many a day together at the Prevention of Blindness.
I met Hope in a grief support group after she lost her beloved Philip and I lost my dear sister Anne. She was a good person to talk to, and we kept in touch by phone after the group concluded. We had a nice conversation just before Pesach, and we planned to talk again after the holiday.
May all of her family and friends find comfort in their memories.
Marilyn: We saw the obituary in the Washington Post. We are indeed sorry for your loss. We send you our love and if you will be in the DC area, please let us know. Hakom y’nachem etchem b’toch sh’ar aveilei tzion v’yerushalyim. Barbara and Richard
