Elaine and family, we are heartbroken to learn of Dave’s passing. For over 40 years he was not only our accountant, but we considered him a good friend. He always provided sound advice and lots of great stories! He would come over at tax time, my mom would have the coffee an’ ready, and they would get to business with lots of tax and plumbing talk mixed in! Dave was a great guy and family man. We know the family business is in good hands with Taylor. We will never forget Dave and please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Very sorry to hear that Dave passed away. He was a life-long friend of my family and was my taxman for many years! I will miss our banter during our tax appointments. He understood my “criminal mind”. Our appts would go over time discussing politics and family. I knew his health was in the forefront in recent years and was glad to see him each year with the same vigor for life and dedication to his craft. Dave I will miss you!

It is with great shock and sadness that we read of David’s death. We met him through a referral of a friend of ours when we realized we would need accounting services. I must say we always looked forward to seeing him at tax time. He combined his infectious wit and knowledge of tax preparation to entertain us every time we met. We are deeply saddened to hear of his passing and feel we have lost a dear friend. Our deepest condolences go out to all of his family.

    Dear Elaine and Family,

I was so very saddened to learn of Dave’s passing. Dave became our family accountant in 1989. We became good friends over the years and shared stories of all sorts. I think most of the time I spent with Dave on my tax appointments, were mostly conversations of family, work, friends and a few jokes and laughs of pertaining to life in general. Dave became a great friend, advisor and mentor whom I will always remember and never forget! I will miss our talks, the laughter and the friendship. If Dave was your friend…he was your friend! Till we meet again someday Dave…and oh yes, I won’t forget the medium hot, Black only, 1 equal just like we did for 31 years. Thank you Tax Man…you were the best! I will miss you my friend! May God watch over you and your entire family, now and forever.

    Auntie Elaine,

I remember going to your house as a kid with my dad and sitting in the basement while my dad and Uncle Dave talked about taxes for what seemed like an eternity. As a little kid, not knowing what they were talking about, I would go upstairs and hang out with you and the parrot.

My last memories with Uncle Dave actually occurred at my mom’s New Years party where he and I talked for hours about the cybersecurity industry, food, and all things sports. What a great time and conversation we had!

Auntie Elaine, Renee, and Jill- I am so sorry for your loss, and I hope Uncle Dave is in heaven looking out for Grandma Harriet and the rest of our family.

    Love,
    Scott Rosenblatt

Getting together with Uncle Dave was always a fun time. His way of telling stories was always so entertaining and he would have everyone around him laughing. I remember going to Auntie Elaine and Uncle Daves house as a kid and swimming in the pool. Going to the Hard Rock Cafe on Christmas a few years back on Christmas was a blast. It was always such a treat seeing them at family bar/bat mitzvahs and weddings. I hope Uncle Dave is at peace and that he is with Grandma Harriet in heaven. Sending all my love to Auntie Elaine, Renee and Jill. Love, Hayley

    Dear Elaine, Renee and Jill,
I just heard today that David past away.
I am so sorry as I grew up with David as next door neighbors on Douglas Avenue in Providence. I knew him by Maynard. My mom loved to play bingo and David gave her a rabbits foot
for good luck and she had it on her key chain and then I had it on my key ring.
My sincere sympathy goes out to all of the Seidman family.

He was the nicest man and was so patient with the many questions I had and I know my father in law always had. Our kids loved to come with us to see “Tax Man Dave”. He will be greatly missed. Dear Mrs. Seidman & family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of David. He was my tax man for many years and I knew that when we got together to file my taxes I would be there well over the time it took to do them. We would spend much time with politics, religion and just current events.
Looking forward to work with Taylor.
