Dear Susan,
I send to you, your husband and family my deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad and my friend, Jerry. He brought much joy and laughter, plus a certain holiness, to our community here at Masonicare at Mystic. It was truly a pleasure to know this fine man. It’s difficult to be sad in thinking of his long and well-lived life…although we were hoping to celebrate his centennial soon. Nevertheless, we will honor dear Jerry by raising a glass of Manischewitz Concord Grape…Kosher, of course! Shalom!
JACK
Thank you Jack. I left the case of unused Manashevitz for toasting & for future Sabbath services @ Masonicare. Thank for helping to make his life happier there.
Susan
Jerry was truly a most remarkable man. I have been and always will be blessed to be in his life and to be with his family. He always put family first in all endeavors. I will miss him dearly but I will never forget what he has done for me. A most unselfish person with his time and mentoring. His heartwarming smile and sense of humor cannot be matched and will be missed.
My heart goes out Jerry’s family. He is one of the brightest stars in the heavens shining down upon them now.

Your mutual friendship was extraordinary. Dad’s having Military honors at his funeral was extraordinary. Thankful for your time together.
All the best.
Susan Tesler
Dearest Susan, your Dad was a remarkable man who showered his loving spirit on all of us whenever he entered a room. So many of his exceptional qualities will always be a blessing and lesson to us of how important it is to bestow and share the warmth and light to others. Thank you for sharing this heartfelt testimony of his life today via the zoomed funeral, the only way during this COVID pandemic that enabled us to attend. It was so very touching and well done.
To my dear friend Rena, thank you for your love & support
i can feel your loss
As one of Michael’s nephews, I had the privilege to get to know his father Jerome over the years. Although I am not his grandson, it was impossible not to see him in the image of a grandfather because he possessed all the qualities the child in us all need from a grandfather (warmth, tenderness, wisdom and the unfailing ability to make us smile and feel good inside). I loved him and will miss him. All my love to his family, especially Susan and my cousins (and pals), Rebecca, Amie, Sarah and Jyl.
Thank you Ken for acknowledging what a wonderful man he was.
