Richard “Richie” Kotlen

Kotlen, Richard Frederick “Richie”, 55, died Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at home. Born in Providence, son of the late Robert A. Kotlen and the late Rita (Jaffe) Kotlen, he had lived in Middletown for 32 years. Dear step son of Betty Kotlen (Basok), brother of Lisa Kotlen of Bristol, Lori Kotlen Stark and her husband, Drew, of Kibbutz Yahel, Israel and David Basok and his wife, Corinne Myre, of Huntington Beach, CA. Funeral services will be private with burial in Kibbutz Yahel, Israel. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to The Potter League for Animals, 87 Oliphant Lane, Middletown, RI 02842.  Shiva will be private.
