Raylah “GG” Weinstein
WEINSTEIN, Raylah “GG”, 82, formerly of Fall River, MA, and Narragansett, died after a brief illness January 21, 2017, with her loving family at her bedside. She was the beloved wife of Lewis “GZ” Weinstein for 64 years.
Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Sarah (Seigle) Reitzas. She was the sister of the late Carol Wiesel (Reitzas) and her late husband Harold. She was a graduate of Durfee High School, Class of 1952.
Raylah is survived by her devoted children, Nancy Mills and her husband, David, of Cranston, Steve Weinstein and his wife, Denise, of Cranston, and Bruce Weinstein and his wife, Lynn, of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of Jamie McKenzie and her husband, Kenneth, Allison McEntee and her husband, Todd, Daniel Mills and his wife, Sasha, Jonathan Weinstein, Brian Weinstein, and Jeffrey Weinstein. She was the proud great grandmother of Colin McKenzie, Ethan McKenzie, Lillian McEntee, and Amelia McEntee. Mrs. Weinstein enjoyed her time most with her family and many friends at her home in Narragansett and traveling with her husband.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 12:30 p.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. Shiva will be observed at the home of Bruce and Lynn Weinstein, 185 East Hill Drive, Cranston, Monday 7-9 and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Miriam Hospital, 164 Summit Ave., Providence, RI 02906. She had an awful struggle for the last 2 weeks at the Miriam Hospital and we are greatly relieved she does not have to go through that anymore.

I have such great memories of Raylah. She had so much moxie, spoke her mind – a real straight shooter, and was a lot of fun to yak with. I hope you remember her wonderful qualities forever.
