I have known the Berry family since I was 7 years old and went to camp with Joanie. Although my family situation was not the norm, I will never forget how’ as a very young child, Phyliss and Jos welcomed me into their home with open arms-literally. And made me feel special, normal and like I belonged. I have never forgotten her genuine unconditional love, and I never will.
