OBITUARY FOR VLADIMIR Y. VILNER

Vilner, Vladimir Y., 79, of Overlook Circle, Smithfield, died Monday, November 3, 2015. He was the beloved husband of the late Eleonora Krasnova. Born in Minsk, Belarus, a son of the late Yacov Moses and Faina (Ginzburg) Vilner, he had lived in Riga, Latvia before immigrating to the US in 1992. Vladimir was a Stationary Engineer for Rhode Island Hospital, retiring 10 years ago. Devoted father of Sergey Krasnov of Cranston and Oleg Vilner and his wife Elina of Old Bridge, NJ. Dear brother of the late Bertold Vilner. Loving grandfather of Matthew, Nicholas and Valeriya. A memorial service will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. in SWAN POINT CEMETERY’S CHAPEL OF HOPE & MEMORY, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to your favorite charity.
