Born in Providence, a son of the late Moses and Cecile (Konisky) Solomon, he had lived in Cranston for over 40 years, previously living in Warwick. He was a teacher for the Warwick school System for 34 years, retiring in 1991. He was a substitute teacher after retirement. Donald taught Sunday School at Temple Beth-El and Temple Habonim for 45 years between them. He was a member of Temple Beth-El and former member of Temple Habonim. DATELINE: Raleigh, NC Camp, Elsie L., 97, passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at home. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, oldest daughter of the late Israel and Gertrude Spader Lovitt. Elsie was a Navy Waves WWII veteran and attended Ohio University on the GI Bill before moving to North Carolina 1950. Lived mostly in North Carolina except 1963-64 in Mississippi and 1968-1969 in San Diego, California. Elsie had administrative assistant positions with multiple UNC Chapel Hill departments for periods during the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. She was a supporter of Hadassah and JFS.
