DATELINE: Cranston Brown, Herbert L., 96, of Cranston, died Friday, April 25, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Sylvia (Rosen) Brown for 64 years, the devoted father of Andi, Ellen Effren (Jerry) and Heidi (Rich Moche) and adoring grandfather of Sydney and Jack Zelinka; Jay (Leigh) and Hilary Effren; and Isaac, Charlotte and Henry Moche. DATELINE: Warwick Feldman, Philip, 87, of 691 Orleans Court, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia (Wolf) Feldman for 41 years. Born in Fall River, MA, a son of the late Louis and Bessie (Newman) Feldman, he had lived in Warwick for 36 years. Phil was the co-owner with his brother George of the former Feldman Furniture Store in Pawtucket for over 60 years, retiring in 1993. He was a WW-II Army veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. Phil was a member of Temple Am David and he attended URI. Torman, Samuel L., 80, died Saturday, April 12, 2014 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Lois Barbara (Weiss) Torman. They were married for 55 years. Sam was the Insurance Commission for the State of RI for over 35 years, retiring in 1989.  He was a member of Temple Am David, South Providence Hebrew Free Loan Assoc. and the Southeastern New England Antique Dealer Assoc.
