Levin, Leonard L., 85, of Old River Road, died Friday, September 5, 2014, at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Carol (McLaughlin) Levin for 28 years. Born in Providence, a son of the late Paul and Lena (Sweet) Levin, he had lived in Lincoln for 40 years. Leonard was the owner of Levin Plating in Pawtucket for over 50 years, retiring in 2003. He was an Army veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. Leonard was a Charter Member of Kirkbrae Country Club, a member of Touro Fraternal Association and a former member of Temple Sinai. Devoted father of Gary Levin and Debra Deletetsky, both of Cranston and Steven Levin and his wife of North Providence. Dear brother of Irving Levin of Cranston and the late Harold Levin. Loving grandfather of Jason, Adam, Jonathan, Michael and Taylor. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI. Shiva will be private.

    My deepest condolences go out to the Levin family. I am so sorry.
    Lenny was a dear friend of mine and Jerry from way back. He sure was a true friend. We will never forget that. From Kirkbrae and our trips to the Catskills and the Cape will never be forgotten.
