My deepest condolences to you all. Our families go way back to childhood and although I haven’t seen Alan in many years, I remember him well. Lori, you and I worked together many years ago, I am so sorry for your loss. And Paul, you were the youngest of all of the boys and unfortunately, the only one left. My sincere sympathies.

I taught at Toll Gate High School with Allan and knew him to be a kind, caring, considerate person in all of his interactions with both his teaching colleagues and his students alike. He would often stop into my office to chat and we’d talk about school matters, world affairs, or sports. I miss those conversations.
My condolences to all of Allan’s family.

Alan and I met when I was new to teaching back in 2005. I did a long term substitute job for him and we struck up a friendship right away. Alan’s quick wit and obvious love for his subject and students endeared him to me. He was so excited for me when Warwick hired me as a social studies teacher in 2006 that I felt a similar pride that a nephew or son may have felt despite our closeness in age. Through 10 years of layoffs in Warwick, Alan never failed to call and check to make certain I had landed on my feet somewhere in the school district. We finally got to teach together at Toll Gate High School in 2017. That was among the best years of my career. Working alongside a friend that I admired lifted my spirits and reignited my passion on a regular basis. I will never forget my friend and trusted colleague Alan Webber for his kindness, humor, and support. Though my heart is broken at his passing, the memories of our laughter together will ease the pain just a little. Fair winds and following seas Alan; I love and miss you.

Wonderful memories of sitting on the bleachers with Al while he made us laugh will always make me smile. He did not miss a game and loved to cheer for you Danielle!
I will miss not running into him as he held court in his favorite spot at Wild Harvest log cabin always chatting up a storm!
He fought a long, hard battle….big hugs to you both.

    Dear Lori & Danielle,
Sending thoughts and prayers for you and the family. My husband and I have great memories of all the sports we shared from softball to field hockey and to all the social gatherings surrounding the teams. Alan had knowledge, skill, humor and great energy. I imagine he brought that same energy to his teaching which benefitted all his students. May his memories bring you peace.
