I will miss Irving’s smiling face whenever he saw me at shul. He would always say to me “Where have you been, did you get lost?” My condolences to the entire family. A real gentleman

I have so much respect for Irving. He was a wonderful son to his parents and took fabulous care of them when they were alive. He loved and cared so much for his wife, children and grandchild. He was a great role model as to what a father and husband should be. Irving was always working. He ran a wonderful, successful business and often came into my store to discuss business strategies. Thoughts and prayers to the family during this very difficult time of sorrow.

We are so sorry for your loss. Your dad always had the biggest
Smile on his face! He used to tease me about Bari and my grandson
Tyler getting married, since they were 4 yrs old. He said we would have to have a huge dowry!
One of the sweetest men I have had the pleasure of knowing.
May his memory be a blessing.

    Deb,

Condolences on the passing of yours Dad …may he Rest In Peace.

  8. Irving was the very definition of a mensch. He had a special “schtick” with everyone, which made everyone he spoke with feel special to him. But there was clearly one person in the world who was most special to Irv, his “beautiful bride”. The community and the world at large has suffered a tremendous loss with Irv’s death, but none more so than Ruth, Deb, and Audrey. Our hearts go out to all of you, and we hope you will find comfort in your many wonderful memories.

Audrey, Deb and Family, I always enjoyed being in your dad’s company and have may found memories. This poem was shared with me at a time of loss and I share it forward. DEATH IS NOTHING
Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way, which you always used. Put no difference in your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, and pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is an absolute unbroken continuity. What is Death but a negligent accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well .

Audrey, Bari, and family, i am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father and grandfather, a true gentleman. I met him the first week,
i started at JCDS, said good morning or talked 3-4 times a week for the 15 years I was at the school. He always parked on the street in front of the school . After Minyan he would always stop to talk and tell a story before heading off to work. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face and was one of the most positive energy people i ever had the pleasure and honor to know. He will be missed.

There are few men on this planet who dedicate their lives to their families but this man was definitely one. Like my own Father – he loved his family more than life. I lived most of my life next to this amazing person who did us the honor of presiding over my own Fathers service during Shiver. He will be missed by many. I am so sorry Ruth, Audrey and Debbie- my love to all❤️
