My sincere condolences to Jane and all the Garrs. Dan was an important supporter of Monroe Community College along with his wife Jane, a professor emeritus of Nursing at the College. Known for his sense of humor and familiarity with the Rochester business sector, Dan was a pleasure to work with. We all will miss Dan.

Mo and I were deeply saddened to hear of Dan’s passing. He was a wonderful man. Dan was amazing person to know and be around. We were lucky to have met him in this life. We know how much you loved him. But, we guess God loved him even more. He was called up to heaven to watch your back from above. Jane, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Jane and family-We were so sad to read of Dan’s passing in today’s D&C. Though we have lost touch in the last few years, we have such wonderful memories of having you as next door neighbors. There were so many good stories shared over the back fence with Dan. We always knew when he was out enjoying the patio as his fragrant cigar smoke wafted over our way! He was a lovely man with a charming sense of humor as evidenced by his smile in the photo. His passing will leave a big hole in the hearts and lives of so many. Please know that you are all in our hearts and prayers. We wish you peace. Laura & Al Swett

Dan was a good friend and Norma and I were greatly saddened to learn of his passing. He was a person who liked people and a good
time. However, he was a person of great character and always sought to do the right thing.

Jane, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this time of great loss.
