Carol G. Bell

DATELINE: BROCKTON, MA

Bell, Carol, 86, died Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late John L. Bell. Born and raised in Chelsea, MA, a daughter of the late Norman and Sarah (Lifsitz) Young, she was a longtime resident of Brockton. She was a graduate of Chelsea High School, Class of ’52.

Carol was the devoted mother of Stuart Bell of Brockton, MA; dear sister of Sheldon Young of MA, Barbara Nair of CT, Sandra Padulsky (Morton) of MA, Carl Young (Nancy) of NH, Jordan Young of MA and the late Norton, Neil and Elaine Young; cherished aunt of several nieces and nephews; and lifelong best friend of Sandy Miller.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.  Funeral services will be held via Zoom on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.

    Carol was a wonderful, kind hearted sister. We loved her dearly. Our greatest symptom to Stewart, family, and friends. She will be greatly missed. ❤️

    Aunty Carol was always fun to be with; she always brightened our days especially at birthdays. We will miss her very much! Our hearts will always remember her beautiful, caring loving smile. Stuart we are so sorry for your loss and wishing you peace.
