Unterberger, Milton L., 78, of Main St., died Friday, June 28, 2013, at Miriam Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Marlene L. (Geisler) Unterberger for 49 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Charles and Bertha (Helde) Unterberger, he had lived in Coventry, previously residing in Cranston and Groton, CT. Milton was an engineer for AT&T, Western Electric and Underwriters Laboratories, retiring 25 years ago. He was an army veteran. Milton was a member of Mensa and enjoyed science, mathematics, music and dancing. Devoted father of Brian Unterberger and his wife Suzanne of Westerly and Cheryl Eastwood and her husband Sean of Israel. Dear brother of the late Edith Corriel and Jeannie Fischman. Loving grandfather of Yocheved, Tovah, Avraham, Yonatan, Yoseph, Ahuvah, Eliezer and Meyer. Graveside funeral services will be held at Mt. Golda Cemetery, 500 Old Country Road, Huntington Station, NY, Monday at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman St., Providence, RI 02906. Shiva will be private.
