Hanzel, Hilda, 101, died Friday, August 28, 2020 in Cherry Hill, NJ. She was the beloved wife of the late Aaron Sack and the late Leo Hanzel. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Nathan and Jennie (Ettine) Gilden, she had lived in Cherry Hill, NJ for 16 years, previously living in Warwick, Philadelphia, PA, and Providence. Hilda was a former member of the former Temple Am David, and a member of Hadassah.
Devoted mother of Rhoda Kelly of Arlington, VA, Roberta “Robbie” Hanzel of Cherry Hill, and Lynda Herman and her husband, Jeffrey, of Cherry Hill. Dear sister of the late Ruth Blustein, Sylvia Gordon and Charlotte Salk. Loving grandmother of Jillian, Emily, Jacob (Erica), and Scott (Karen). Cherished great-grandmother of Sophia.
Funeral services and shiva will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to your favorite charity.

I was sorry to hear of Hilda’s passing. I remember her from Temple Beth David. She played Mah Jongg with my late mother Becky Woled for many years.
