Chorney, Marion R., 88, died Friday, April 3, 2020 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin Chorney. Born in Bronx, NY, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Anna (Caminear) Rabin, she was a longtime resident of Cranston.

Devoted mother of Lois Johnson of Cranston, Aaron Gray of Vienna, VA, Linda Klaen of Germany, the late Steven Gray and Robert Gray, Bruce Chorney of Cranston and Louis Chorney and his partner, Diane Paquette, of North Attleboro, MA. Dear sister of Rena Rabin of Blacksburg, VA. Loving grandmother of Sarah, Stephan, Judith, Hannah, Melissa, Allisyn, Adam, Naomi, Kaia, Joe, Steven, Daniel, Matthew and the late Marissa and David. Cherished great grandmother of twelve.

Funeral services and shiva will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
