Weinberg, Lillian, 92, died Thursday, October 4, 2018 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Weinberg. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Isadore and Ida (Beck) Shechtman, she had lived in Cranston for 63 years, previously living in Providence. Devoted mother of Carl Weinberg and his wife, Lisa, of Cranston and Dr. Marc Weinberg and his wife, Lori, of Bristol. Dear sister of the late Fannie, Irving, Simon, Harry, and Samuel. Loving grandmother of Jill (Billy), Dean (Lizzi), Devin, Evan, Adam (Molly), Justin (Jona), and David. Cherished great grandmother of Aidan, Phaedra, Zeke, Thea, Hallie, and Annie. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in SHALOM MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 State Street, Providence, RI 02908 or the charity of your choice. Shiva will be observed at her late residence, 17 Tulip Circle, Cranston, on Monday from 6-8 p.m.
