The last time we saw Steve, even tho he was obviously very ill, he was upbeat and jovial. He seemed more concerned for us than for himself. Steve was always a joy to visit. What a sweet, joyful, and wise man!

Our love and prayers are with Lee and Suzie and the family.

For all the members of The Special Express Dance Team – our sincere sympathy to Suzie and her Mom. Steven was a wonderful member of our team, friend and faithful volunteer. Not only did he dance with us, but he drove one of the athletes who did not have transportation to and from practices and performances for several years. We will remember him always.

Sadly never knew Steve had passed away in August 2018..Had the wonderful pleasure of bowling with Steve at Langs Bowlarama in the 1960s…As a matter of fact on September 19,1969 on lane 29 and 30 at Lang’s myself and Steve bowled against each other Steve shot 756 for three games and myself 754…both at that time RI state records..wonderful memories..To me Steve was my idol being younger than him..He was undoubtedly a great person ..Even though it is six years later it is never too late to express my belated condolonsces to his family….May Steve rest in eternal peace…I will never forget him….
