I will always remember Josh as a great friend. I was blessed to have counted him as a close friend for over 30 years and I always looked forward to visiting with him when I travelled to Florida. He suggested I investigate Freemasonry after one of our many “deep” conversations. Because of his suggestion, I became his Brother in Masonry. Josh had an amazing and profound impact on my life. I love him and miss him terribly. My sincere condolences to all of the Gold family.

I was Josh’s high school history teacher and — three decades later — still remember his extraordinary intelligence, quick wit, and ready smile. I’ll never forget the school trip to the USSR we took in the summer of 1987 and how josh made fast friends with arussiajs we met. It breaks my heart to learn this news and I offer my deepest and most sincere condolences to all who knew and loved him.

In high school, Josh became a good friend to me at a time when I really needed a good friend. We spent a summer hanging out and working together. Josh was an amazing person. I know many others feel the same way. He reconnected with me recently and was the same person and friend I remember from our youth. Still so fulll of love.

I am honored to have been Josh’s friend in high school and college. Josh was always unique, not fake. Josh was real and never compared himself to anyone and I learned from him as a teenager. I have such wonderful memories of Josh in the USSR, Moses Brown and my time with the warm Gold family. I moved overseas and Josh and I were intermittently in touch but he had such an impact on my life. I will miss him dearly and my heart goes out to his family.

I am joined by my staff at C. A. Goldberg, PLLC in expressing the deepest sadness to the family. He was a recent voice of guidance and stability to several staff members at my law firm. It was a dark moment this morning in Brooklyn to hear the news about Josh who was so generous toward my firm with his wisdom, brains, and ingenuity.

Joshua (Josh) Gold is a dear friend who I met in Miami a few years ago. He immediately impressed me as very good at his chosen profession as well as a compassionate, humble and caring individual. I’m sure he will sorely missed but the memory of Josh will live on through his family and many friends. I am truly honored to have Josh as part of my life.

I am saddened beyond words. My deepest condolences to David, Marcia, Dan, his wife & children, and the rest of the Gold family. Josh was the kindest and most gentle soul. He was so intelligent. I learned so much from him. I will remember his contagious laugh most of all. I was lucky enough to have met him in London almost 25 years ago while attending a study abroad program in law school. Josh, we will always have London. -Noushter

Josh came to my mind today. I am glad I came across this page for me to leave him a message. “Josh, you are awesome and amazing! No matter where you are, you will shine bright, no doubt. In our Moses Brown days, you had many friends from all circless and you loved everyone unconditionally. You were one of MB’s finest and one of a kind. Thank you for being a kind and a loving person to all. I am blessed and honored to call you my friend. Just the thought you are no longer with us, the world is not the same. That’s how much you are missed by me and many others who you have touched around the world. Love you Josh.” My deepest sincere condolences to the family & to everyone who knew and loved him. He loves everyone like family and I missed hearing him calling us his “brother or sister ” Sending love & prayers to all.
