Bonnie was my dear, loving sister. We played a lot of ping pong in the basement of our parent’s house when were growing up. We went to a Rolling Stones’ concert at the Boston Garden in 1969. We bought a rail pass and travelled around Europe in 1977. In 2006, my daughters Sarah and Madeleine travelled to Rhode Island to visit Bonnie & Mark. Bonnie and Mark attended my son’s Bar-Mitzvah in 2015. Bonnie was always good natured and easy to speak to. On 12/27/17, Bonnie emailed me amazing pictures of herself, Mom and Dad from the past. Unfortunately, I can not attend the funeral as I am the full-time care-giver for my wife who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2017. I have no one else to care for my wife.

Mark and Ken, my sincere condolences to you both. Mark, I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you. Bonnie was a sweet and gentle soul, taken far too soon from this journey of life.
Ken, I have many fond memories of childhood gatherings at your house playing with you and Bonnie and attending family affairs as we got older. I was touched by Bonnie’s support at my dad’s funeral in 2010 and never thought it would be one of us just a few years down the road. Although we have scattered all over the globe as adults, it is a heartbreaking loss nonetheless. My thoughts and prayers go out to you as well regarding the challenges of caring for your ill wife.

I am very saddened by the loss of Bonnie. She was an amazing Aunt who always made me feel welcome at her home. I remember visiting her home a couple of years ago in Rhode Island and she showed me all the pictures she had of the Phillips family. I also appreciate that she attended my Bar-Mitzvah. I am gladly repaying the favor and honoring her memory by traveling across country to attend her funeral service and burial.

I am Ken Phillip’s sister-in-law. I had the pleasure of knowing Bonnie. Our paths crossed at family celebrations on the West coast. I remember Bonnie and her Mom well. She, like her lovely Mother were gracious, kind, reserved, thoughtful people. I’m sorry that I didn’t have the chance to spend more time with her. I know that Sammy, Sarah and Madeleine (children of Claudia and her brother Ken Phillips) will remember her fondly. She will be
    missed!!!

Mark and Ken, I was deeply saddened by the news of Bonnie’s passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to you both and your families. Bonnie was my cousin. I have nice memories of spending time with her during my childhood visits. During the conversations as adults, Bonnie was always very nice and radiated a special warmth. Always meant a lot to me that Bonnie visited my mother and was very kind to her. She was also very supportive. After my mother’s passing Bonnie sent me beautiful family pictures. I will always appreciate having Bonnie as my cousin and she will be missed.
