Bernard “Bernie” Levin

Levin, Bernard “Bernie”, 75, died Friday, December 1, 2017 at home. He was the beloved husband of Bernadette “Bunny” (Croce) Levin. A lifelong resident of Providence, he was a son of the late Max and Dora (Gittleman) Levin.  He was a mail delivery person for Fleet and Bank of America in the Superman Building, retiring in 2013. Bernie was a graduate of Hope High School, Class of ’61. Dear brother of Irwin Levin of Delray Beach, FL and the late Barbara Levin Kortick. Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in St. Ann’s Cemetery, 73 Church St., Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice.  Shiva will be observed at 9 B Street, Cranston on Monday from 4-6 p.m.

    My condolences to you and Stuart and the rest of Bernie’s family. I will miss my phone conversations with Bernie. He was loved by many. I glad I got to talk to you today . my heart is aching.

    We are so very sorry for your loss. Tracy mentioned Bernie many times through the years when they worked together at the bank. It was very nice to finally meet the two of you as well. Our condolences to you and your family.
