Jerry was a thoughtful, kind ‘mensch’.He never wanted to impose on others but was always willing to help, to share. In all things he paid meticulous attention to detail and always strived to do his best. He questioned and considered anwers carefully.
Jerry was a talented pianist. I remember recitals sponsored by our mutual piano teacher and my wonder at his accoplishment.
His memories of people and events were a treasure that will be sorely missed.

I feel very privileged and fortunate to have known Jerry Spunt for the past 35 years and to have been his friend. He had a perceptively brilliant mind, a subtle, poignant wit, and very high ethical standards. He helped and represented people who others would not out of a sense of decency and compassion. He was very humble for a man of his talents. He taught me a lot. I will miss him deeply.
