We were truly saddened to hear of Jimmy passing away. He was a prince and we will always remember him fondly as a loving husband to Emily, father to Jamie and Rebecca, and dear son and brother to his mother and brothers.

A caring, gentle, funny and loving soul who was taken from us all far too soon, but who we know is now at peace and will live on in our memories for all time.

    Love,

    Cheryl & Ed

I was lucky to be a life long friend of his. There are no words to describe what a great person he was. Full of life and always positive, never a bad thing to say about anyone. I can hear his voice calling out my name. There is nobody better than him. Why such a good person was taken from us I will never know. Myself and many others will never be able to forget him. He will always be a part of me.

I am so saddened to hear of Jimmy’s passing. He may have been my first friend, at age 3 or 4. He stood up for me when another child took my pencil box when we were headed to nursery school. Although I hadn’t seen him in many years, he was very special to me and I have love in my heart for him and his family. My condolences.

HOLY COW! Emily, “Becca”, Jaime and family; I am sorry to learn of Jim’s passing. I first met Jim when you lived across the street from my late Cousin, Jim. Later, we got to know each other when our Daughter’s competed against one another for Cranston West and Pilgrim in cross country and track…Just a super guy in so many ways. Jimmy, you are gone way too soon but will not be forgotten by so many people…RIP my friend.

I have known Jimmy since kindergarten and probably even before that . We were neighborhood kids and I loved playing with the boys. Had a crush on him, like all the other girls in the neighborhood. Shared the same homeroom with him in junior high and high school.
So glad I had the chance to see him a few months ago when he was visiting his mother and I was visiting a family friend. He was very glad to see me and I was thrilled to see him. Seemed like the same sweet guy that I knew for all those years. I am very saddened.

Totally shocked at the passing of Jimmy. Jimmy was my 1st friend when my family moved from Providence to Cranston. There are several memories that come rushing to my mind at this time. For four years I would go to Chester Barrows Elementary School with Jimmy and Hank Brown. We would both meet at Jimmy’s house and sit in his “waiting room” while he rushed around getting ready.
    RIP my friend.

    Emily and Rebecca,
I was very saddened to hear of your loss. I tried to get into the service but the crowd outside was too large. I always enjoyed talking to Jim when he came into the office, we had so much in common. I hope the pain lessens over time for you.
    Sincerely
    Ernest Corner
