Levin, Claire, 82, of Slocum Road, died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Brandon Woods Dartmouth.  She was the beloved wife of Fred Levin for 57 years.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Solomon and Sarah (Rousso) Elias, she had lived in Dartmouth for 23 years, previously living in New Bedford.  She was a clerk for the family business, Levin Marine Supplies, for 30 years, retiring in 2014.  Claire was a member of Tifereth Israel and its Sisterhood, Hadassah, and the former Hebrew Ladies Helping Hands.  Devoted mother of Howard Levin and his wife, Sharon, of Southington, CT, Steve Levin and his wife, Joyce, of Kingston, MA and Jerry Levin and his wife, Susan, of Dartmouth. Loving grandmother of Alyssa, Andrew, Daniel, Julia and the late Adam. Graveside services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. in PLAINVILLE CEMETERY, Old Plainville Road, New Bedford, MA.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.  Shiva will be private.

    Please accept my sincerest condolences on the loss of your mom.
    Claire was a wonderful lady, I have fond memories of speaking with her & your dad over the years.
    May you always remember the fun, happy times that you all shared together & know that she is watching over your entire family.

    Dear Cousin Fred and Levin Family,
    We appreciated Cousin Claire and for all that she did for her family. We especially appreciated how she always made the time to talk with my mom for many, many years. She was a lovely woman and we wanted to let you know that we loved her and she will be greatly missed!
