Lisa J. Libis

Lisa J. Libis, age 55 passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on March 23, 2016, after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer.  Lisa was a graduate of Keen State College in NH and she resided in Warwick, RI for the past 9 years.   Her greatest joy was being a loving and devoted Mother to her three beautiful children, Isaac, Samuel and Luciana Libis. She is also survived by her second family, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Catano of Goffstown, New Hampshire, their children Katherine and Nicholas Catano, the Father of her children, Carl Libis and his wife Sandi of West Greenwich, RI.  She was dearly loved by her Cancer Sisters from the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation, Friends from the Kent County YMCA and many others who have had the joy of knowing her.  Her Funeral will be private, but a Celebration of Her Life will take place at Winman Junior High School, Warwick, RI on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 7 pm.  All who have been touched by her story and life are welcome to join the Celebration.  We ask that you wear pink in honor of Lisa, as she was an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the https://www.youcaring.com/isaac-sam-and-luci-libis-516482 page ~ to Help the Libis Children or The Gloria Gemma Foundation.

    My dear friend I pray you are at peace and know we will always be here for your beautiful children. You were my inspiration in so many ways and I will miss you and our chats. I will remember your words and not cry but celebrate your life.
