    Dear Eva,

So sad to learn of the passing of your beloved mother. Over the years, whenever I would run into your parents, they were always so cordial to me. My thoughts are with you and your family as you are a comfort to each other. Safe travel home.

    Fondly,
    Elena Sacks

      Dear Elena,
Thanks, I was quite crushed — I thought she could fight it again! I am still in RI and have been for over a month as I was by her side. Leaving tomorrow. Hope all is well with you and your sons.
      warm regards,
      Eva
